The 2nd annual "King of the Board" tourney was held at Horseshoe Billiards in April of 2004.  The same format
as 2003 was used in 2004.  The top 16 ranked players in the Twin Ports assembled to compete in double
elimination to see who would be King and who would be Queen.  The level of competition was much higher in 2004
due to the substantial number of people raising their MPR's over the last year.  Familiar faces didn't qualify this year
due to newcomers such as Mark Pundt, Tom "Max Hardcore" Dolan, Paul Switzer & Jemal making their way into
the top 16.  The field could have been stronger if the "Great One" Brett Holinday and his brother, Scot, could have
graced the event with their appearance.  Several questions had to be answered:  "Would Sturm repeat?",
"Could Smitty remove the 'Queen' title that had been bothering him for a full year?", "Could Tom Hardcore stay
sober for the whole event?", "Pundt, Rehnstrand, Roberts…. will one of these guys step up?", "Roger Rose"
and others.  The following are the results of the tourney:
